Amaryllis cruises some of the most picturesque waterways in France, including the River Saône and the River Rhône and the Canal due Centre.

Throughout the Burgundy region excursions are arranged to visit ancient chateaux and sample many of the famous wines of the region: Beaune, Dijon, St Jean de Losne, Chalon-sur-Saône and Dole are just some of the towns and villages visited.

The Amaryllis also cruises the Rhône between Lyon and Avignon famous for the landscapes that inspired the great canvases of Cézanne and Van Gogh. Visits are made to Lyon France’s second city, the Beaujolais region, Mâcon, the totally restored Abbey of St. Philibért in Tournus, Chalon-sur-Saône, the Côte Challonais and Beaune.
