Beziers to Trebes

Imagine you and your friends combining your love of golf with a leisurely cruise aboard Anjodi, a fully-crewed luxury hotel barge, drifting along tranquil waterways past some of the most beautiful scenery in the South of France. Your floating hotel is furnished with every modern comfort

Day 1 Sunday   Beziers 
You will be met at Chateau de Lignan Hotel in Beziers at 4pm. You will be escorted by minibus to Anjodi for a Champagne Welcome aboard, followed by an evening cruise across the impressive River Orb aqueduct ascending the 100-foot flight of locks at Fonseranes. Dinner aboard 

Day 2 Monday   Beziers to Capestang. 
A morning visit to Beziers' 13th Century fortified cathedral of Saint Nazaire, with a commanding view across to the Pyrenees Mountains or explore l'Oppidum D'Enserune, a pre-Roman hilltop settlement with Greek and Iberian excavations dating from 600B.C. A short cruise in the afternoon followed by golf at Cap d'Agde (Tee Time 2.30pm). This golf course is located in a colourful landscape created by one of the world's most renowned architects, Ronald Fream. An outstanding and inventive course whose greens are jealously protected by bunkers that you will never forget. Dinner aboard. (18 course, 6301m, Par 72)  

Day 3  Tuesday  Capestang to Le Somail. 
Morning cruise to Narbonne, a Roman Mediterranean capital where the Visigoth Monarchs once lived. Enjoy a visit to the Archbishop's Palace and Horreum. Explore the indoor market, at the hub of this bustling Midi town, where you will have time to shop or simply absorb the relaxed atmosphere. After lunch, golf at Golf de Lamalou-les-Bains (Tee time 2.30pm). Located at the foot of Mt Carooux by the River Orb, this course with its three small lakes, is flat, wooded, short, technical and most enjoyable. Dinner on board. (9 hole, 2600m, Par 35) 

Day 4 Wednesday   Le Somail to Homps. 
Begin the day with golf at Golfe de St Thomas (Tee time 10.30). This 18 hole course offers various types of play: woods, hills, lakes and on some fairways a more classic approach. After lunch a leisurely cruise and we sample the full-bodied Corbieres wine of 17th Century Chateau LaVoulte Gasparets. This evening we dine ashore, at a charming canalside inn, in the heart of the village of Homps. (18 holes, 6130m, Par 72) 

Day 5 Thursday  Homps to Marseillette 
]Morning golf at Golf de Carcassonne (Tee time 10am). Challenging water obstacles and bunkers make this a tactical golf course for players of all levels. This afternoon's excursion is to Minerve, the ancient capital of the Minervois, which hosts a 12th century Cathar fort surrounded by deep limestone gorges. Besieged by Simon de Montfort in 1215, its hilltop location affords spectacular views. A fascinating recreation in miniature of the bloodthirsty Cathar rebellion and small museum complete the intriguing picture. Twilight cruise to Marseillette and dinner aboard. (18 holes, 7200m, Par 72) 

Day 6 Friday  Marseillette to Trebes 
Fascinating morning tour of Carcassonne. Dating back to the Gallo-Roman era, this is the most complete mediaeval, fortified city in existence today, with its 52 watchtowers, portcullis and extraordinary repertoire of defenses, which resisted the many armies that tried to storm this Camelot setting. Afternoon cruise to Trebes, through vineyards and pinetrees. Captain's Farewell Dinner aboard 

Day 7 Saturday Trebes to Beziers 
After Breakfast, return to Beziers 

 Individual Bookings: Child 12 to 17 years traveling with an adult $300 reduction
Charter bookings: Child reduction of $300 applicable for all children aged 0-17 years.
