Sherborne

Your cruise on Sherborne follows one of the most attractive stretches of the Canal du Midi, starting and finishing close to Béziers and Carcassonne. Alternately we also cruise between Carcassonne and Toulouse. The canal is one of the oldest ever built and a masterpiece of engineering. Pierre-Paul Riquet was the designer and he was born in Béziers in 1604. It was designed and constructed in an amazingly short time of fifteen years between 1666 and 1681.
