The 5-star MV Casanova was newly built for delivery
in April 2001. The deluxe vessel accommodates 94 passengers
in 48 cabins. She is distinguished by staterooms on her
upper deck featuring full-length French doors, which can
be opened (cabins on the lower deck have large windows).
Original works of art can be found throughout the vessel.
All double cabins are identical in size and are beautifully
appointed with built-in closets, desk, shower and toilet,
television, telephone and 4 channel radio. Hairdryer and
terry robes are available upon request. Bedding is European
style duvets with feather pillows and eiderdowns (synthetic
materials available upon request).
The vessel features six meals daily (Breakfast, Morning
Bouillon, Lunch, Afternoon Tea, Dinner and Midnight Snack).
All meals are single seating with evening meals up to nine
courses on selected nights. Additionally, there is a bar,
Panorama Restaurant, lounge as well as an infirmary with
a qualified doctor on board. The Sun deck offers plenty
of deck chairs and blankets, if needed. Captain's Welcome
and Captain's Farewell Receptions are provided as well as
nightly entertainment and dancing. There is one crew member
for every 2.5 passengers providing about the best crew to
passenger ratio of any river vessel. This allows for a high
level of service as well as sumptuous meals, served course
by course for the evening dinner. English language announcements,
menus and daily programs are provided.

Saturday, Day 1
VENICE Arrive at ship, ship departs at
5pm.
Sunday, Day 2
CRUISING. Spend the full day at leisure
on board as you sail Italy's greatest river.
Sunday, Day 3
CREMONA Arrive in the delightful
historic torn of
Cremona (1pm). An optional tour will introduce you to the city where the
violinmaker Stradivari was born.
Monday,
Day 4
MANTUA Arrive in Mantua early morning
for a full day. You can opt to take a full day excursion to the
enchnting old town of Verona, the picturesque Poggy winery and the town of
Garda. Or a morning tour to Verona and in the afternoon an optional excursion
to the monument-filled city of Mantua.
Tuesday, Day 5
BOLOGNA-FERRARA In the morning, you can opt to join a transfer to Ferrara
to visit the moated Castello Estense and the 15th century Palazzo Diamanti.
In the afternoon enjoy anoptional excursion to Bologna, one of the most convivial cities in Northern
Italy.
Wednesday, Day 6
CHIOGGIA This morning relax and enjoy scenic cruising from the
Po Valley into the Po Delta. Arrive in Chioggia at 1pm.
Discover the artistic treasures of the old university town, Padua on an
afternoon excursion.
Thursday,
Day 7
VENICE Arrive (9:30am) in one of
the world's most beautiful cities with a full day to explore. Enjoy
an optional excursion through the lagoon to visit the islands of Murano, Torcello
and Burano.
Friday,
Day 8
VENICE Disembark the ship after
breakfast.
