DAY
1 : PORTO
Our
purser will welcome you aboard our brand new ship from 05:00 pm on.
After settling in your cabins our staff will introduce itself, and you
will be served a welcome cocktail, followed by your first dinner aboard.
Later on, our hostess will accompany you for the romantic visit of the
illuminated old town (optional excursion).
DAY
2 : REGUA
After
a nice buffet breakfast aboard, we will discover
PORTO
(optional
excursion), Portugal’s second largest town, as well as one of the most
ancient towns in Europe : ancient areas
which kept intact (UNESCO World heritage site), winding lanes , houses
with archways, magnificent churches…
PORTO
also represents the port wine with its vineyards along the Douro. We are
going to visit one of the greatest cellars in Villa Nova de Gaia. You
will have the opportunity to taste the wines.
Then,
we will go back to the ship to have lunch, start the cruise and admire
the wonderful landscapes up to REGUA. We will pass the lockers of
Crestuma and Carrapatello ( the highest in Europe : 35 meters). Arrival
in Regua around 08:00 pm

DAY
3 : REGUA - BARCA D'ALVA (Spain)
Buffet
breakfast followed by the visit VILLA REAL with its beautiful cathedral
from the 14th century. Later on, for those who want, we will
leave for the most lovely walk in the beautiful gardens of Solar de
Mateus, and join the ship for lunch in Pinhao. For
the others, the ship will start the cruise to Pinhao, where we will have
lunch aboard. We are then going to cruise trough the wonderful high
hills, very heart of the most famous Porto vineyards, planted “in
stairs” up to 700 metres height. We will pass the lock of Valeria and
arrive in Vega de Teron in the evening. Diner and evening onboard
(Spanish theme).

DAY
4 : BARCA D'ALVA - SALAMANCA - VEGA DE TERON
Buffet
breakfast on board. Departure for the Salamanca excursion (optional
excursion). Salamanca is UNESCO World heritage site, with numerous
architectural treasures Roman, Arabic and Christian. Lunch in Salamanca.
Back on board. Diner and evening onboard.
DAY
5 : VEGA DE TERON - FERRADOSA - PINHAO
Early
cruise departure and buffet breakfast onboard. We will pass the lock of
Pocinho and Valeria, and cruise all the morning. Lunch on board. Stop at
Ferradosa
around 02:00 pm. Departure of an optional excursion : the Porto wines,
on the vineyards road, during which you will have the opportunity to
taste Porto wine in a “quinta”. Back on board in Pinhao around 06:00
pm. You may also discover the beautiful Pinhao’s railway station.

DAY
6 : PORTO
Buffet breakfast on board.
Departure from Pinhao by coach for the guided tour of Lamego (optional
excursion), during which you will discover the Nossa Senhora dos
Remedios sanctuary, the middle-aged castle and church of Almacave, and
the cathedral. Back for lunch on board. Afternoon cruise up to Porto.
Arrival in the evening. Diner and fado evening on board..
DAY
7 : PORTO - BRAGUA
Buffet
breakfast aboard. Free morning in Porto. Back on board for the lunch.
For the afternoon you may stroll in Porto, or participate to the
excursion to Braga (optional excursion) and see the cathedral (12e-17e
century), Misericordia, Du Populo and Nossa Senhora Branca churches,
Tibaes monastry. Back on board for the diner.
DAY
8 : PORTO
Buffet breakfast aboard.
Disembarkation , end of this cruise with great memories in mind

Prices Include: Full board cruise from
dinner of the first day to breakfast of the last day in a double cabin
with showers and toilets, welcome drink, entertainment, the Captain's
evening, the assistance of our
hostess on board, and port taxes.
Prices Do Not Include: Drinks, coffee
with lunch and dinner, insurance and optional excursions.
For reasons of navigation and passenger safety,
the Captain of the ship reserve the right to modify the itinerary of the
cruise.
