DAY BY DAY ITINERARY

Day 1: Friday- Embarkation in Lyon
After your individual arrival, embarkation begins at 16:00 hours where you begin your wonderful journey.

Day 2: Tournus / Chalon-sur-Saône
Start the day in the small town of Tournus, that is rich in monuments and has a beautiful old town feel. From here you can take a wonderful excursion into Southern Burgundy and visit the Hôtel Dieu in Beaune. Particularly worth seeing is the area around the old abbey. In the afternoon the ship sets course to Chalonsur- Saône. Spend the day here and take a slow walk in this wonderful old town.
 

Day 3: Macon
This mountainous area has numerous Romanesque churches and manor houses. The cities location connects Southern and Northern France. Take a trip to the monastery Cluny, as well as a tour followed by wine tasting.
 

Day 4:Viviers
In Viviers you have the opportunity to tour the beauty of the scenic canyons of Ardeche.

Day 5: Arles / Avignon
Discover this classic but open provincial town of Arles. Get on a city tour with charm and typical French flair. A visit to the park in Camargue is designed to be the absolute highlight.

Day 6: Avignon
Start the day with a Walking tour of Avignon to the Pope's Palace, the graceful Walls and the Pont d'Avignon, which was represented by a children's song known all over the world. A trip to the world famous Aqueduct Pont du Gard is on the program till midday.

Day 7: Lyon
Today you will be cruising the 200 km stretch of the Rhone Valley between Aignon and Lyon, In addition to going through several locks, you will pass charming villages, chateau, and a variety of vineyards. Arriving into Lyon in the early evenng.

Day 8: Disembarkation in Lyon
