DAY 1
COLOGNE / NIJMEGEN Embarkation 4:00 PM. Cruise from Cologne to Nijmegen.
DAY 2 NIJMEGEN / DORDRECHT Morning tour of the Kroller-Muller museum
and its famous Van Gogh collection. Afternoon devoted to a presentation:
Chocolate, It's Origin and development.
DAY 3 DORDRECHT / GHENT Morning excursion to Kinderdijk and its 19
windmills. Afternoon enjoy the expert’s chocolate tasting seminar while we
cruise to Ghent.
DAY 4 GHENT / ANTWERP Excursion to the medieval and romantic town of
Bruges, famous for their soft-centered chocolates. Tonight’s chocolate
dinner with corresponding wines proves that cacao not always needs to be
sweet. The famous confectioner Steffen Blunck and the River Cloud’s chef
de cuisine present a culinary adventure in several courses.
DAY 5 ANTWERP / AMSTERDAM Guided city tour and visit to Ruben’s house in
the morning. Visit to a Belgian chocolatier in the afternoon.
DAY 6 AMSTERDAM Confectioner Steffen Blunk presents various methods of
making chocolate and pralines at a workshop in the morning, during which various
techniques can also be tried out directly. Guided tour of Amsterdam in the
afternoon.
DAY 7 AMSTERDAM Full day to enjoy Kuekenhof Gardens, featuring
thousands of flowers.
DAY 8 AMSTERDAM Disembark after breakfast.
