Day 1 SundayYou will be met at
Hotel Concorde Lafayette, Paris at 2.00pm for transfer by private mini coach to Meanderer. A Champagne reception and an early evening cruise await you. Dinner on board.
Day 2 MondayAfter an early breakfast we transfer to Les
Bordes Golf Course (18 par 72, 6256m). Rated
amongst the top 5 championship courses in
France
, this picturesque course offers a challenge to novice and expert players alike. The evergreen fairways of the course feature densely wooded boundaries and large natural water features. In the afternoon we take a cruise along the first part of our journey. Dinner on board
Day 3 Tuesday
After breakfast we transfer to Fontainbleau Golf Course (18 par 72, 6074m). Regarded by many as the best golf course in the southern Paris region, this all weather course is deep in the private forest of the Fontainbleau estate. After lunch we cruise to the charming village of Chatillon Coligny. Dinner on board
Day 4 Wednesday
After breakfast we transfer to Golf de Montargis (18 par 72, 5914m). This championship golf course is described as an "American" style course. Situated in a wooded valley, the course includes manmade water features and natural lakes. On return to the barge, our afternoon cruise to Rogny-les-Sept-Ecluses includes a chance to walk the ancient "staircase" of locks, which stand as a monument to the old canal. Day 5 Thursday
After breakfast we transfer to Roncemay Golf Course in Joigny (18 par 72, 6401m) This international standard course, designed by Jean Garaialde in 1991 has hosted many of France's famous competitions. Overlooked by the Chateau in whose grounds the course has been developed, the length and technical nature of the course offer a challenge to even the most advanced player. Afternoon cruise to Briare. Dinner on board
Day 6 Friday
Our morning is spent moored in Briare to allow time to explore this busy market town and fascinating history of the canal, which once supported it. In the afternoon we transfer to Sancerrois Golf Course (18 par 72, 5828m). A spectacular course set on the banks of the River Loire within sight if the famous vineyard village of Sancerre. Today's cruise is reserved until the evening to take in the delightful splendor of the world longest aqueduct, crossing the River Loire. Farewell Captains Dinner
Day 7 Saturday This morning after breakfast we depart for the return transfer to by Paris by approximately 1pm.
